Justos Castigos (Fair Punishments)

Esta es una historia de familias; como decir esta es una historia de venganzas. Parecen de buena raza pero eso es engañoso, pues hay muchos bien nacidos y malos, aunque también es cierto que todo hombre, rico o pobre, se sacia de la misma manera. Lo que es justo no admite discusión, sino prisa para ejecutarlo. Las victorias traen derrotas y es momento de contarlas.
Dirección y dramaturgia de Jesús Coronado sobre La Orestiada reuniendo los textos de los clásicos Esquilo, Eurípides y Sófocles con nuestro “máximo trágico” José Alfredo. Obra creada con el propósito de confrontar la estética escénica de la compañía con la cima dramaturgica de la genealogía teatral, que busca su revaloración y los puntos de encuentro para la significación al amparo de los tiempos actuales.
Estrenada en abril del 2006, la puesta en escena se ha presentado en la Sala Villaurrutia del Centro Cultural del Bosque, y en el Festival Internacional de Zacatecas.


This is a story about families; another way of putting it a story about vengeance. They seem of good race but deceitful, because there are many who are well-born, but who are evil, although it is also true that every man rich or poor, gets satisfied in the same manner. What is fair does not admit argument, but only the rush to get it done. Victories bring defeats and now is the time to tell them.
Author and Director Jesús Coronado based on Orestes, gathering texts from the classics Esquilo, Euripides, and Sophocles and with “our most tragic” José Alfredo. Play created with the purpose of comparing the stage aesthetic of our theatre company with the play writting summit of theatre geanealogy, searching for significant coincidences in our daily lives.
The premier was on april 2006, and it has been performed at Sala Villaurrutia of the Cultural Center del Bosque in Mexico city, and at the International Festival of Zacatecas.
